Verido

Vertical cantilevered
heavy-duty slurry pump

Due to its high wear resistance and a high degree of adaptability, the Schegler Verido series withstands the most demanding slurry applications and highest industry requirements.

Schegler designed its Verido vertical cantilevered slurry pump to handle abrasive and corrosive liquids and slurries while being submerged in sumps or pits. Its cantilever design avoids submerged bearings or a shaft seal, which ensures minimum maintenance and eliminates the need for external flushing water. Its design makes the Verido suited for continuous use in applications that require greater reliability and durability than other vertical pumps or submersible pumps can provide.

The Verido pump range is available in various lengths to cover most standard sump depths. In addition, this series offers a wide range of configuration options, which allow the pump to be tailored to a specific application. Wet-end components are available in a variety of alloys and elastomers, allowing your Schegler distributor to select the optimal combination of materials for maximum wear resistance in your application.

Design features

Heavy-duty cantilevered shaft design

Its cantilever design avoids submerged bearings or a shaft seal, which ensures minimum maintenance and downtime, and eliminates the need for external flushing water.

Various material configurations for wet-end parts

Wet-end parts are available in a wide range of alloys and elastomers. It allows the pump to be tailored to your specific application, resulting in best-in-class wear resistance.

Different impeller shapings

The impellers are designed with large clearances to pass solid particles efficiently and reduce the risk of blockages while maintaining high performance. The high-efficiency back vanes further reduce axial loads. Different shapings are available to tackle a myriad of applications.

Double suction

The self-venting double suction design eliminates the need for priming and makes the Verido well-suited for snore conditions.

Cast bearing housing

Cast bearing housings result in lower vibration levels, allowing for improved critical speeds.

Various column lengths

Each pump size is available in various column lengths to cover most standard sump depths.

Extra heavy-duty roller bearings

The reliable grease-lubricated extra heavy-duty bearings are designed to contain the radial forces exerted by the system, thus reducing shaft deflection to a bare minimum. The combination of a labyrinth seal and flinger provides a unique barrier preventing contaminants’ ingress, further improving maintenance intervals.

Concentric casing

Verido’s concentric casing design drastically reduces shaft load and reduces wear.

Optional agitator

An optional agitator can be installed. This agitator helps lift settled solids, improving suction conditions.

Optional suction pipe extension

An optional suction pipe extension can be installed to pump deep sumps and pits.
